Every studio sells a big pack: 20, 30, sometimes 50 classes, at a much lower price per class. It would be easy to compare ourselves to that and look generous. It would also be dishonest.
The decision
We compare members strictly against the single-class drop-in rate. That’s what people actually pay. Almost nobody walks in and buys the 50-pack — it’s a commitment for the already committed.
What it changes
Every figure on the site starts from drop-in prices. A stack’s retail value is what its member would pay class by class for the same month. Rewards are measured against that, in whole dollars, and written the way a member thinks about them: a year first, then the month.
Where the rewards come from
We buy packs in bulk, upfront, at rates a single member can’t get. The gap between that and drop-in is where the money is. Members get their share back as rewards.
